Volunteer centres in Hertfordshire have used the ivo.org platform to launch an online hub, which aims to connect local businesses with charities in the area. The Skills Share Herts initiative used to be paper based; but using an online system will save time, be less laborious and make it easier to keep track of matches.
Manager of Volunteer Centre Dacorum and project manager of Skills Share, Heather Allen MBE, said: “Skills Share will transform the way we do business, freeing volunteer centres up to do what they do best – which is promoting volunteering.”
