Charity Advertising Exchange (CHADEX) has introduced an online advertising marketplace for UK charities which claims to be a cost effective way of improving communications with potential donors. The platform uses real time bidding technology which targets specific donors. Charities can benefit from gaining knowledge of the donors value before buying an advert.
CHADEX expects to provide fundraising and brand campaigns as well as last minute emergency campaigns. The technology claims to make sure that charities don’t overspend on each donation or pay for the same advert twice. They do this by using a single buying channel which is integrated with other platforms and agencies’ systems.
CHADEX’s founder Lee Cassingham said: “We built CHADEX to help charities target donors with accuracy irrespective of their size or budget. Campaign success should be about the strength of the message and not the size of the campaign budget”.
