Causes, a fundraising and awareness platform, has acquired consumer technology firm Votizen for an undisclosed amount. Causes aims to enable supporters of charities, religions, political parties and candidates to raise awareness of their activities, fundraise and organise online movements. Votizen allows users to organise themselves into voting blocs using social networks and Causes is using the acquisition to boost its current portfolio of fundraising and awareness services.
