On February 4th 2013, the Institute of Fundraising (Iof) will be holding a one day conference at the Brunei gallery in London, entitled “CRM and the Supporter Journey.” Leading charities and experts in the field will be giving insights, including Salesforce, CLIC Sargent, and Age UK. Entry cost is GBP225 for non-profit organisations.
Topics covered include: starting out with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), making the most of an existing database, deciding on models, measuring the results and implementing a new database. Anyone looking improve their approach to CRM is invited to attend.
Iof say: “CRM, segmentation and improved donor insight are absolute necessities in the current charitable giving market. With insights from leading charities and other sector experts, you’ll leave this conference with an excellent understanding of what you need to do to really make a difference to your segmentation and communication approaches.”
Charities believe corporate fundraising is a key growth area. But recent research by the IoF has revealed that just 7% of charities with a corporate fundraising programme feel that it is “fully developed”. With this in mind, Virgin Money Giving is hosting a series of free live events between 5th and 7th October to help charities grow their corporate fundraising.
